The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
Let your light shine;

Silver blue eyes darken with worry as the pale mare observes the torrid of emotions that color the stallion's gaze. Though her relationship with him is far different from the one she once shared with Shamwari, he is still a kind and generous stallion. To see him worry like this bothers her heart. A single tentative step forward is taken as ash dusted labrums stretch forward to brush her muzzle gently against his own in what she hoped was taken as encouragement. Though she had never had the ill luck of meeting this rogue stallion he called Rougaru, she tended to think positive of everyone. Even now as the dark thoughts crossed Liland's mind, she could not help but to hope that it was all simply a caring stallion's worry. She had heard that there were stallions out there, stallions that saw their mares as pawns and chess pieces to be tossed here and there at a whim. She had heard that these stallions use their mares as breeding tools, determined to spread their seed far and wide. These were stallions she made herself believe only belonged in stories fit for unruly fillies. They were not real... so she hoped.

She can feel Liland relax beside her, a reluctance in his voice as he too admits that the proud desert queen could take care of herself. A warm smile spread upon her lips now as she withdrew a bit and turned her attention momentarily to the dark colored colt. Bran sniffed tentatively at the warm desert breeze that swept across them, his dark eyes bright as he took in the world that surrounded them with curious eyes. A coy smile played upon her lips, she knew that smile too well... even Hexxus had taken on that smile a time or two. Nudging him gently Larka turns her gaze once more to Liland. "I wish to travel to see Shamwari." she says... letting the words linger upon the air between them. silver white ears flicker amid the tangle of wind swept raven locks as she shifted her weight uncomfortably back and forth beneath her. "There is a history between us... one that never got a proper ending." she says, her voice trailing again for a moment as she let her gaze linger upon the horizon where she knew not far away a single ocean separated their island from his own home.
"I will not be gone long, but I wanted to discuss it before I did leave." she murmurs, dark lashing blinking slowly up at him. He was not Shamwari, and she would never have his heart in the same way Zjeena did, but she had learned a thing or two in her lifetime and well, her regret over simply up and leaving Shamwari without an explanation had hurt him... and she was determined not to make that same mistake again.

Bran twists a single dial backwards, glancing up at his mother and father. Although he was too young to understand it, he knew that they were in a deep conversation and well, from the tones of their voices it was not an overly pleasant one. With a mischievous smirk he dipped his head and stepped forward to butt his father's foreleg with his head. Dark eyes gaze up at him alight with pleasure as small fluff of his tail wags back and forth excitedly, determined to lighten the mood.
