Liland was proud of his lead mare and the mare he loved. She would always be his lead mare, his equal she had all the power he had with the herd, which he hoped she knew and understood. She controlled the herd just as much as he did. Now she graced him with twins. Quiet the names, they fit themhe said though they certainly were a mouthful. He knew they couldn't speak yet but he hoped they could remember his smell and name and that he was their father. He could not wait to watch them grow up to be strong horses.
