Cullen had planned to die as the lagoon boss, but now things could be different. He would still lead for much longer, of course. Currently, his mind was not on his two foals. His bright blue eyes glare into the gaze of the viper who stood up to him now. Lilithiya did not flench as he charged her. She was not afraid, but she has also seen a side to him no other mare has.

She seemed calm, but the angry flick of her white tail told a different story. He knew this was the calm before the storm. The words shot at him like bullets, but he did not back down. He would never back down to her just like she wasn't about to walk away from him. His eyes narrow with attitude as his tail begins to whip back and forth. Anyone looking in on this scene was in for a show. The two looked like they were about to drop everything and attack each other. "Time of my life, huh?" His voice raises, but he says no more for now. He realizes this escalating scene might draw attention.

She scolds him again, but this time he says nothing. His eyes just wander to the foals behind her as she says their names. He tries to swallow down the hard forming lump in his throat. She had even named them after one of the stories he had told Lilithiya. He guessed she has done that to connect the foals to him even if they all got separated. He could tell the foals were his...and hers. His eyes dart around suspiciously, but he sees no one nearby. His voice goes low as his muzzle reaches closer to the white mare. "Talk quieter please."

He clears his throat and continues to speak lowly. "I know I left you alone to deal with them, sorry, but I had to. It was best for all of us." He pushes out the word 'sorry', spoken under his breath. "I have enemies here that can't know about you or them. Please, keep them quiet and never leave this place. The stallions here should help keep you safe, but don't give anyone much information. Only say you are mine." He would not stand of anyone touching her. He may have left them behind, but not that he was here he couldn't stand the thought of anyone else having her. He would kill anyone who tried.
