Force-claiming is allowed here once a week per character, as is blocking force-claims by the Peak/Lagoon (as a whole) once a week. Rollover is on Sundays.

Shaydowfax had left Kalona with Desire and Libra in the dunes. It was time for her to expand their herd so she plunged into the ocean and swam the distance to the commons where others were mingling. The lusitano mare stood tall as she exited the water and shook her pelt out of the salt water. Her nostrils flare as she looks around for any solo standing horses. Not seeing any to begin with she begins to meander further in grazing as she went.
Finally her eyes spot a mare not too far off from her. She chews what food she has in her mouth as she watches her for a little and then sending out a whinny in her direction Shaydowfax proceeds towards her. Now for some a mare coming and claiming another mare might be strange but Shaydowfax was a lead mare the queen of the Dunes and she would be a force to reckon with.
She moved up beside the other mare and nips her gently on the shoulder placing a claim but then giving her her space. Greeting's I am Shaydowfax Queen of the dunes on Salem. If you have no home you do now with me and my growing herdShe says confidently standing there watching the mare for her reaction. Would she be okay with a mare leading a herd? Or was she really old fashion? Then again traditional herds usually had a lead mare and a lead stallion however; it was usually the stallion who went around claiming others.
