Yngvar knew he shouldn't be all that jealous of little Blackout its not like it was the colts fault at being born. But perhaps that was just because Yngvar was only a yearling and still wanted all the attention of his mother and Tarek(who he believes is his father). No one knew who his real father was since his mother wasn't from around here. Of course he didn't really look like Tarek at all but one could just put that to he takes after his mother. Other then the color. His half brother has their mothers coloring.
He is grazing when he hears a nicker and he lifts his head up off the ground and turns his head to the left as he eyes another, older stallion. At first he is quiet as he studies him, trying to determine if he was friendly or was trying to fool him. After all Yngvar wasn't even done growing yet.
Finally after a few moments of finishing the grass in his mother he nickers back. His ears now fully on the other stallion in curiosity. He stood as tall as he could just in case.
