She'd watched Liland from afar as he came back from battle after battle. The wounds scarred his cream hide nicely, in her opinion, but she could tell it was changing the stallion. He didn't approach her and she was okay with it, though she kept tabs on all his battles. He was the victor about half the time but it didn't seem to get his hopes up even when he came back victorious. Maybe he just really missed Zjeena and the foals. Monster could definitely tell from her brief time in the meadow with Rougaru that he certainly didn't act like that, so why did it leave her bitter and angry inside? She wanted to be unforgettable, but what if he was already moving on without her? She screamed her rage to the ocean, pausing only to rear on the edge, kicking more rocks into the waves crashing on the cliffs. Her fore legs flailed in the air in front of her, challenging the very air to make her feel as inadequate and ordinary as the thought of Rougaru dared to make her feel. No, she was anything but ordinary. Screw him. She could live without him. She'd find a stallion worthy of her future children. Snorting, she snapped her head around when someone dared to call back to her. Her nostrils wrinkled and her neck arched, tail swishing at her sweaty flanks as she turned to face the stallion cantering toward her. She was surprised to see Liland approaching her so directly but maybe he'd just gotten tired of watching her wander off all the time. Oh well. She pawed the ground impatiently as he got closer, her skin practically vibrating as she braced, ready for anything. At his words, she tossed her head with a snort, lips curling into a sneer as her voice came out in a purr. "Worried about me, Sandy Pants? Careful. I'm beginning to think you might care about little ol' me." She gave a teasing wink, her tail swishing at her flanks again as she tilted her head. "So, warrior princess, when's your next battle royale? Bringing me back anything this time?"
