Hi everyone <3
So, it’s been a while… So sorry for disappearing! Life’s been pretty crazy, y’know? But I’ve finally finished my studies, so things are easing up a little now, yay! And because I’ve missed roleplaying here on TLI so much, I figured I’d join some of my old ponies.
I’m more than a little rusty, not having been writing much for a while now, and I’d love a little direction to get back into the swing of things, so, I’d love to hear if anyone is interesting in either posting or plotting with any of these three I’ve rejoined <33
Dances With Wolves has been around a while, visited Luthien when he was very young, but for the most part stuck to the Crossing and the Bay. There’s probably no-one around that he was close to, but probably a few would know of him at least, through Nephilim/Mariael. He’s always been a little broken, but at least he’s not alone. I’m going to say that he’s been hanging around the Crossing for a long time, looking after his daughter, Echo. He’s super protective of her, because she’s blind, but mainly because she’s pretty much all Dances has – most everyone he’s ever cared about/known well are no longer around. One day, he'll get his happy ending... I hope.
Echo… Unfortunately I never got around to posing her, so, she’s still largely in development. She’s a sweet, kind soul, who seems to look after her father as much as he looks after her, and while she loves him deeply, she wants to experience some things for herself, and develop a little independence. I was thinking that she’d encourage Dances to find a safe place for her to stay (either with the Peak mares, or a more peaceful herd led by someone Dances and Echo both feel comfortable around), so that he can wander, and so that Echo can grow into herself.
Last, but certainly not least, Tigerlily. As a filly, she was fiery and full of emotion, and she still retains a lot of that, but she’s struggling to break free of the bitterness she’s consumed with at the moment. Her mother never spoke about her father, and the one father figure she had in her life (Dances) kept her at a distance for reasons she doesn’t understand. She was separated from her brothers, and was forcebred, and then ended up giving birth to a stillborn. Her brothers never found her, and she went off searching for them and their mother on the mainland, but found no trace of any of her family. She’s recently returned to the Islands in the hopes that they’re here looking for her, or that they’ll return and look for her. Lily’s been through a lot and kind of… Hasn’t dealt with any of this, so she’s a right mess, and I’d love for her to meet someone (or several individuals) that will help her start dealing with things. At least one of these would need to be very firm with her/not put up with her melodrama, someone who can match her fieriness and wake her up a bit, but a gentler, patient and more caring soul would also be great for her.
