Dexter
male.16 years old.35in, 145#.born to MothxCoszcotl.sibling to Amoxtli&Zeltzin.unable to bind.mated to Tuari.father to Eztli, Lixue, Petra, Citlalli, Itzel, Niyol, & Mochimal.Taviora

It probably came as no surprise to Elohim that Dexter chose to compliment Zelda's many strengths as a leader since she had done so well for Taviora since taking over. When he brought up Aranck and the Darkbringer, Dexter couldn't help the surge of anguish he felt within himself in that darker part of his soul, the part that still cried for the blood of murderers and killers. When Elohim commented about them needing a gathering, Dexter caught the present tense and stiffened, his ears flicking back in realization of what Elohim meant with that little subtle hint. Dexter knew of Aranck's death but the Darkbringer had all but disappeared from the lands about the time the new leader took over in Iromar. Did Elohim know that he was back? It gave Dexter a new hunger that never truly left. It was just dormant until called upon.

At his questions of snakes, Dexter couldn't help but snort a little and quirk a lip. "Depends on the snake. Some seem to have many heads." When it came to wolves of deception, he knew as well as anyone else that even the ones you once counted as allies could turn on you at the most crucial time. Elohim seemed amused when Dexter talked of his own mate. When he mentioned Tuari being an heir, Dexter arched a brow and pricked his ears toward the male. So that's what this was about? Eden was searching for someone to hand his pack to? It was surprising to him. He tilted his head. "I assumed your father would hand the pack down to one of his children. Is that not the normal way?" Of course, it wasn't unheard of for alpha's to give the title to someone else either until their chosen heir grew to a certain age or if they deemed none of the children worthy of such a title. Was Elohim himself not looking for the title?

Then the male made a joke about Zelda ruling two packs before pointing out that it could be possible in other lands. He shrugged noncommittally. "Perhaps. Anything is possible." Then Elohim spoke of the other children of Eden, asking about one called Shem. Dexter couldn't help but shrug. "Unfortunately, I don't know a Shem. It doesn't mean he's not around. Perhaps, I just haven't run into him." He wondered what Elohim thought of this mission his father had sent him on. Did he resent Eden for having him go out to seek recruits for throne? Did Elohim have no dreams of ruling? Dexter wondered what went through his head.
