Kestral seems to have that effect, where others are drawn to him. He rarely seeks the company of others, content with Keen alone. Perhaps it's that he doesn't actively seek others out that draws them in. It's an unusual pattern of behaviors for a horse. It creates an air of mystery that no one can resist. Or perhaps its his demeanor, always lost in a daydream, and welcoming of anyone to join him in his fantasies.
The stallion looks at his daughter kindly, listening to her concerns in earnest. Reassuringly, he replies. "Your mother can take care of herself I'm sure, but if you'd like me to check on her, I will." Nothing in his visions has led him to believe Vasilisa might be in trouble, actually on the contrary. In every image he's seen, she's seemed strong, well off, perhaps defiant, but such is in her nature. She is a firecracker of a mare, and he would expect nothing less of her.
The next bit of news she offers draws Kestral's ears forward in interest. It seems he'll be a grandpa soon. Surprise mixes with delight, and and then fades to sympathy as Nampeyo voices further concerns. His expression softens and, once again he offers words of comfort and reassurance. "Don't doubt your actions, daughter. What's done is done and your path you walk now cannot be changed." He takes a breath before continuing on, "Trust there is a reason you felt compelled to accept this stallion. Who better to help him grow than you?" Kestral would like to meet this requiem. Perhaps he's seen the face in dreams, but impressions are best formed in person.
