It amused him to think that she was left to wonder, there on the ridge. Wonder if his mind was on he as much as he wondered if she thought of him. Never would he forget the countless hours of pacing back and forth along the borders of the ridge, his steely gaze searching for even the slightest glimpse of her skin. He felt fairly certain that Liland would not touch her, he had made it clear enough the picture of exactly what he would do to his skin if he did, but still he could not help his mind wandering.

Feeling her next to him now, the warmth of her skin pressed so close to his own, surely he could not hope for anything closer to perfect. The wolf growls its satisfaction as she smirks and remarks that she is a keeper. In its mind, she was his and his alone. A smirk tugs his lips upwards as he nudges her. "Indeed"

It felt good to feel her touch upon his shoulder, to see that same fire alight in her eyes as she proclaims that she must be battle ready in case the fates tried to wear him down. It warmed his heart to think that she would fight at his side. Of course he would never ask it of her, but still it did make him feel as though there were true feelings shared between them, not just possessiveness on his part.

He lets a laugh ring from his lungs as she offered to take it slow on his part and he cannot help but to toss his head and give a short leap forward. Thick saucer-like hooves pound the pliable white sands as he races after her, stretching his neck out, reveling in the feel of the wind whipping across his face and his pretty little viper lively and carefree racing just ahead of him. Playfully he reaches for her rump, his blunt teeth reaching to nip at her flank, excitement glittering in his eyes.
