Away into the surf of the ocean, another swim but to another island. Still she didn't know the one who might vye for her attention. Wrapped in the idea of the two-toned stallion, she had only just considered the prairie a reprieve from solitude. Just as she had settled for a night another had come for.

Stallions were brutish by nature. They had clashed on the prairie's island and yet she hadn't
witnessed. Only when the new stallion had called for her to follow had she come. A vivacious young thing, she had been reluctant to go with the new leader. Pale eyes had shown whites as she had glanced back to the first Whom had claimed her. A farewell.

Now here she was, cresting the rocky line with a second stallion not far behind. When she had slowed he had been there. A shadow behind her form driven forth to this land. A nicker had called to her and she turned to view the one to whom she was a prize. Noticed the crimson thag stained his shoulder. Perhaps she had been a hefty prize.

When he had finally spoke there was little surprised in the depths of azure eyes, though perhaps a spark of interest in the foreign tongue that laced forward. This stallion is shooter than she. As the blood trickles she supposes he is formidable, for having won her from another.

The ridge is a safe place, and there are others here. The stallion had spoke and she had listened. What was safe on the islands?
"Safe? And what makes it safe?" The fervor in her eyes begs to know what is considered safe on the islands. Though perhaps deeper, she hopes to know why this unknown man has taken her."I am interested in why you took me from the other island. The prairie? I don't even know you." Brash maybe, her clarion voice had sought answers immediately. While the stallion thought his herd land was obviously superior in some manner to others, she had no inkling why.
