PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

The greying mare lead them slowly but surely, alert and listening for anything the mares behind her would say. She herself remembered little of her journey here. Kolfinna had travelled alone, and kept her eyes on what lay ahead. It had given her plenty of time to ponder over the many unknowns that were scattered in her life like the stars in the sky at night. Everything she’d ever been sure of had given way, and untethered, she’d come to these islands to seek the truth, and perhaps if she was lucky, find some answers.

While she did not reply verbally just yet, Kolfinna snorted softly after her turned-back ears had caught Amunet’s reply, tinged as it was by ambiguity. Curiosity spiked in the young mare, but she was quick to soothe it. In time, and if Amunet deigned to reveal herself, Kolfinna would learn more. But until then she was more than content with the knowledge that, for now at least, she was no longer alone on the mountain the four ascended together. After some minutes, the narrow path widened and extended to form a large, rocky ledge.

Kolfinna made room for the others to move past her to safer ground, and then followed, sharing breaths with the sisters a moment or two, before moving closer to Amunet, and touching her gently on the shoulder. Whatever it was that led you here, to this place, I am glad to have met you all, she said, sincere in her words. It’s not good for the soul to be alone. Kolfinna glanced away from her three companions – eyes scanning the slopes & ridges above them.

The only scents I found here were fading, she explained in a murmur. I seek to know what happened here. Tomorrow I will descend the mountain in search of answers. Kolfinna looked to Kyuubi and Kurama, then Amunet. You may stay, if you wish. Perhaps one of the residents here will return. But if you wanted to explore with me, I would be grateful for companionship. They were all but strangers to one another, but they had been drawn together in the shadow of the Peak. Kolfinna did not want the other mares to feel as though she were abandoning them so soon after welcoming them to a place she had not known for long.
