The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

This stallion acted as if he didn't know the rules of the wilderness. Sure, Cain may be re-learning them, but he remembered seeing the lead stallion of his former herd run off many a tresspasser who didn't acknowledge his leadership. Did they do it differently where he came from? Did lead stallions allow him to squat in their lands with no consequences? He definitely wouldn't find that kind of lax leadership here. Cain wouldn't tolerate another stallion here unless they had an understanding and it seemed this stallion never would. He had proven himself by bringing in mares and defending them. He'd made his point countless times by driving the stallion off more than once when he only showed defiance at his presence. How was it not enough to show the stallion that his actions had consequences? If he wouldn't submit, then Cain would continue to drive him off.

The stallion tried to say that he wasn't given a chance to explain himself. Cain snorted. "You did not acknowledge that you were on my lands. You chose to start a conversation with the mare like you were just socializing in a neutral land. How am I supposed to take that kind of disrespect? You had already explained yourself through your actions before I even made myself known." He scolded the stallion, wanting him to know exactly what he did wrong. He gnashed his teeth in anger when the stallion brought up the mare. He shook his head. "She was on my land and was therefore, none of your concern." He only sneered when the stallion called him something in another language and then explained it. He raised his head. "Why, thank you." As the stallion turned to leave, he chuckled and shook his head.

"That's right, run like you always do. Come find me when you're ready to acknowledge my title and actually do some good around here." He stomped a hoof before lunging forward into a leisurely lope. He could tell the stallion was in a hurry to get out of here this time so he let him exhaust himself, only making sure that he did indeed leave his herd territory before he paused to turn back.
