AS the seasons began to change, so with it came the coming of war. Already Warsaw was amassing his alliances to him, plans and preparations being put into place for the battles soon to come. While that was all and good, Rougaru was not about to leave his herd unawares and unguarded. Though he was fairly certain that at least for the time being, Liland had been cowed into place in the Bay, and Shamwari had apparently contented himself with retrieving Larka in exchange for Calypso, Rougaru was not fool enough to believe that it would be the end of it. Liland was ever changing, always saying one thing and then acting rashly and in the opposite manner. Though he had freed Zjeena to return to him, learning no doubt by now that she would soon grow round with his foal would not sit well with him and surely he would attempt to retaliate in some manner. Shamwari too, held a deep set hatred for force breeding Sanibel and no doubt if not during the war or afterwards he would do his best to see that Rougaru and his herd found his helping of justice.

A shrill bugle rings from his lungs now as Rougaru summons his herd to him. Calls for Monster and Vasilisa, for Celestria and Calypso and even Solaris and the foals. He would not leave them wanting. It was time some things became clearer and his expectations as well.
