The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

He was okay to let her pick her particular path and speed at which she wanted to travel, as long as he knew she was safe and not being harassed by other stallions who might want to steal her. She was pretty and independent. Surely stallions like Rougaru would want to add her to their numbers. Luckily, he'd managed to get to her first and lead her back here before that happened. He wanted to continue building his herd but he needed to find yet more creative ways to do that. He'd force claimed, fought with another stallion in the Common, even bargained his way into getting mares and had one follow him back home after he bred her. So far, his methods were anything but traditional but he wouldn't have it any other way. He was determined if nothing else.

When he promised her the blood of her enemies, she actually looked excited at the prospect which had his own brow arching in curiosity. Maybe she wasn't as dainty as she looked. He chuckled and tossed his head. "As long as you are under my protection, your enemies are my enemies." When he teased her about their trip here, she taunted back, saying he annoyed her till she had to follow. He laughed a little more heartily before shaking his head with a soft snort. "I doubt anyone could make you follow anywhere, not without a little willingness on your part." He slowed a little to watch her prance across the sand. She really was a sight to see, all beauty and grace, like she belonged here. He knew she was probably from the same veins as ones such as that annoying stallion who liked to stay around here, but he had nothing against the breed, only the individual who dared to tell HIM that he didn't belong.

Sure, he wasn't built for these conditions, but he had been raised in them for years so it was all he knew. When he teased about hurting her, she lifted her gaze to his and said it was unlikely. He grinned in response. As her teeth found purchase on his shoulder, he leaned into her teeth, a low rumbling noise like a purr leaving his lips as he closed his eyes for a second, enjoying the sensation. At her words, he chuckled again as he reopened his eyes, their glittering depths finding her as she pivoted away. "I think you'd be surprised at what qualifies as hurting me." She said that she couldn't make it easy and he had to earn it. He smirked as he pranced up beside her flanks, tossing his head before trying to place a light nip on her hips. "Then earn it, I shall." He said with finality.
