She seemed so upset and it ate at him. He hated seeing her this way but hated more that he didn't know why. She didn't want to talk to him anymore. She came to him for comfort and small talk, but nothing more. Didn't she care about him like he did her? He could see the moment he shifted back that she was hurt just as he feared. But then she stomped her hoof and her eyes shifted to anger. He was getting used to seeing that more and more lately. She told him that she loved him and he inhaled sharply. He jerked his head back but before he could think to form words, she spoke again, telling him how jealous she got when she saw him with Xiomara and how she thought she might lose him. He shook his head. "No, never." She asked why he wouldn't let her have hope, asking if he wanted to lose her and he snorted before stepping closer to her.
