The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

He knew he wasn't that popular with Primrose after the way they started off getting to know each other and he knew he had himself mostly to blame for that. She was the first mare to come to the Desert and he was an angry, determined stallion, only wanting to gather mares and produce offspring. He was quick to scoop her up and tell her she couldn't leave then he force bred her, just to make sure he got what he needed out of her. It was caveman-like and maybe looking back on it now, he regretted it, but there was no take-backs so he'd just have to treat her differently from now on. He'd learned a lot about mares and being a lead stallion since he'd been here. He was definitely marking his hide with plenty of fresh scars from all the battles, but he enjoyed every minute of that part. Primrose giggled when he asked about her name and he only tilted his head, knowing that losing his temper would get him nowhere with her.

She said it was religious and that Shamwari was her father. He rolled his shoulders in a shrug. "Haven't met the guy." He hadn't really met many other lead stallions besides Rougaru. She seemed to be watching him when she mentioned his mother but she only made a soft comment while avoiding his gaze when he gave his answer. He didn't like that her stomach was growling. Why couldn't she seek help when she was hungry? The last thing he wanted was someone starving in his herd, especially a pregnant mare. When he told her what he'd done for her, she snickered like it was a joke and his ears flattened in disapproval. She said that her father gave her that and he scowled. "Obviously not, or you wouldn't be here, would you?" He arched a brow teasingly. He rolled his eyes when she talked about withering away.

"You want some cheese with all that whine? Just ask where the food is. It's that easy." Snorting and shaking his head, he nudged his head in a "follow me" gesture before he started walking through the desert. "There are numerous oases throughout the herd lands with plenty of grass and fresh water. You just have to know where to find them. Luckily for you..." He trailed off as he walked up over a rising dune and stopped a the top, his lips tugging into a smirk. "I do. See? Food, water, shelter." He let her decide if she wanted to go get some food right now and if so, he would follow to watch over her as she got what she needed. "I can show you some others, too, if you're interested."
