Winter winds, with all their might, try to knock him down. Every winter felt more hard to bare, but that was one reason he did not leave the safety of his home during this month. Still, he leaves the Lagoon and ventures over the snow towards the commons.
The growing of his herd has made him hungry for more. He watches as a few mares grow their bellies with the seeds of his brother and he knows his legacy would be known. The next generations would learn the Boss that helped bring them into the world and into the Lagoon life. Some might be happy about that, others not, but they were his members. Each one plays a vital role and he was hungry for more.
He didn't have to travel far through the fog and the blistering winds, but he spots the liver chestnut getting cosy next to a much older stallion. Both were a funny pair actually. The stallion was clearly showing his age and not in the best spirits. The mare looks like an old warrior with old scars and a ripped ear. She looks at him like he was some kind of meal.
Cullen chuckles as he aproachea the group. His sky blue eyes shine like a guiding light in the thick winter fog.
"Brother, allow me to save you from the humiliation this mare is attempting to bestow upon you." He speaks with concern for the grey stallion, eyea trained on the mare. She looked like a good fight, one he wouldn't mind trying out.
"A stallion such as yourself should be able to live a free life without the worry of a Queen's order."
His eyes turns to the stallion sharing warmth with the claiming vixen.
"Come join my brotherhood and be free to make your own choices." He offers the stallion a chance away from the mare and a spot among his brothers. This stallion may be old and unfit for battle and raiding, but Cullen also knew the worth in experience. He was sure this stallion had stories to tell.
