Björn revels in the frigid gusts of wind, they drive their frozen tendrils deep into his fluffy smoky colored coat. Yet, no matter how frigid the wind gusts and blows, she can not drive the cold deep into his bones. He shrugs his shoulders and hunkers down against the rough bark of the nearest tree, it offers some protection from winter's cold breath. His glacial eyes are as cold and stony beneath his thick unkempt forelock.
He had needed to leave his home to clear his head. Some much was happening and it was tangling his head in emotions and feelings that he didn't understand.
His tail whips across his fluffy sides, his focus flicks from islander to island until his gaze settles on the unfamiliar face of a exuberant young girl. Her energy vibrates the very air around him and he is instantly drawn to her. Excitement lights her eyes as she joyfully frolics in the banks of snow. A smile briefly touches his whiskered lips as he looks upon her. He pushes himself from the bark of the tree ands strides through the snow to meet the girl.
"Winter suits you, ísmey," he says in his thick northern accent. His eyes take in her fluffy curves and the delicate curve of her youthful face. She is a sharp contrast from the warrior that stands before her, she youthful and blemish free. And he wears the scars of a haunting past and weariness in his glacial eyes.
"I am Björn, Bera Konung of the Ridge," as his title slips from his lips he raises his skull proudly and eyes her with glacial eyes. "And what can I call you?" he enquires to hear her name whispered into the frigid winter's air.
