Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

am I a monster when I sink my teeth into her?

Rain, of course, came soon enough. Light, but enough to send him shuffling back several feet in an effort to claim some refuge beneath the conifers. He'd been traveling far, after all, and didn't want to add the addition of 'soaking wet' to his reasons to feel a weariness in his bones. Weariness was the thief of good conversation, so why indulge it?

When she arrived, he watched her closely, perhaps even with a little awe. It was rare to see a wolf like her - the mountain wolves were unique, he thought, with a distinct look about them. It was common among the other packs to see Star Marks or violet eyes, or familiar patterns and colours that connected them all to one another as blood-kin. The mountain wolves, however, did not seem to wear such connections. The smokiness of her fur, the unusual banding of her legs, and even the earthy mahagony of her eyes were all uniquely 'mountain.' He wondered, albeit briefly, if she'd ever noticed the instinctual curiosity that she seemed to ignite in others. Or, at least, within the Elohims of the world.

Eventually, he remembered to rise, and then he remembered to bow his head in greeting. His eyes did not leave her face though, and his head tilted slightly as she introduced herself. Ah, he seemed to say with a small nod. So this was Nymeria, and Kalseru would continue to remain an enigma to him at least for now. Still, he was glad to have the company of one of the Bewilderbeasts, and so he grinned freely as he straightened once more.

"I am Elohim, of Glorall," he said with a crooked grin, feeling more or less a little underwhelming considering his lack of formal titles. Then again, he wasn't sure he'd wear a title such as Seaborn quite as well. "I've been sent by the Fortitude, Eden, but mostly I have come to indulge my own curiosity." This, he thought, was the part he hate d the most. It felt cumbersome to simply announce what his father wanted to know all while attempting to establish the fact that he did not report solely and completely to his father. Elohim was his own wolf, but it was just as cumbersome to announce that his loyalties were to himself and not his alpha. Neither, he thought, inspired all that much trust, did it?

"Eden seeks to learn what Moladion desires in a leader, and who they believe may fit those desires," he explained with little pause, attempting to keep himself preoccupied from his own thoughts. Oh, and to actually explain, he supposed. That seemed secondary. "And I've agreed to summarise for him, at least." Perhaps that would...well, say something about the situation. Elohim held his breath, hoping that he'd at least said something correctly and in such a way to make Nymeria Mountainborn willing to indulge him at least for a short while. If there were any wolves who would possess well-rounded, history-rich insight into what the place needed, he'd think to find them in Spirane.
