Non-error %: .958 (errors/total balls in play, sort of like a baseball fielding %, but different, of course.) 96% non-errors is pretty high for this modality. And 5 of the errors, according to my scoring, came after 10-10. I think the guys got a little "gassed" at the end. If you extrapolate this to a 3 set partido (which it very well could have been), your talking over 550 balls in play, in a match that would have lasted over 1 1/2 hours.
Will have a more detailed write up on this a little later. Really hope we can see this again, so I can try to quantify the number of saves. What a joy it was to watch this match.
Number of Balls in Play/Number of points
Longest point: 9-10--10-10--32 balls in play. Bailo makes 3 extraordinary saves.
Time of the match: 44 minutes.
That, of course, doesn't begin to describe how great this match was. Hopefully, we will all get another chance to view it. The number of saves was astronomical.
This was as good a partido as I have seen all year. High Cestas to all.
