Yes, the memories are great from back then. After working all day, that hour drive to Orlando fronton was a great way to unwind and then I was in another world of the Orlando Jai-Alai excitement. Loved it, would get home late, go to bed, work, and back to Orlando again, a lot of times staying overnight there on a Friday night.
Have a few of the 1980's programs along with some newer ones I got off ebay. The 1980's programs unfortunately were a pretty boring program cover, with no color and the grid of the players. Big Bend programs were the same plain style, went there a few times when visiting grandma in the panhandle. Never got to Hamilton or Melbourne (Brevard), but went everywhere else, but no MGM LV or Reno and none in the northeast. Worked in Windsor Locks, CT for Hamilon Sunstrand for about a year, but that was after all the frontons were closed up there, at least the OTB was right there in Windsor Locks. Replies:
