Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

*~My Next Collison Course~*

The mare looked like she was ready to run and Collision swallowed, wondering just what his options were in this case. He was sure as a bachelor, he was probably supposed to herd her back further into the Lagoon so she knew she wasn't going anywhere but that wasn't who he was. He couldn't bring himself to force someone to be somewhere they didn't want to be. As she turned to face him, she stomped her hoof and lifted her head, defiance shining in her eyes as she looked him over. He kept his body language neutral, his head level and his gaze soft and friendly. He gave a swish of his tail and a gentle snort from his nostrils as she shivered and gave her name as Cherokee. He nodded in acknowledgement. "Pleasure, Cherokee, but I can see the pleasure is definitely all mine. You don't seem happy." He observed.

She was quick to ask what he wanted and made it clear she wanted to leave. He shook his head. "I was just coming to ask if you were okay. I...don't think I have that kind of authority. I'm just a soldier." He wasn't sure what he could and couldn't do around here. He just knew to train his battle skills which he was working on. She said the stallion who brought her here wasn't even here anymore and he tilted his head. "He just brought you here and left?" He didn't know if the stallion in question was just collecting trinkets for the lagoon or if he was stolen or what. She seemed agitated, her tail swishing as she watched him. He took a step back, giving her space and showing her that he wasn't going to bully her or pressure her anywhere. "Is there anything I can do for you?" He emphasized the "can" since of course he didn't think he could just escort her out of here.
