"Whatever helps you sleep at night." He laughs. "Perhaps my age is taking its toll, but at least that is something not in my control. You chose to become pregnant and weaken your herd. Whatever comes to you next is your own doing." He warns that someone would come after her despite her heavy belly. It might even be the very child she carries that will eventually be her doom.

He was aware that this conversation would only be back and forth arguing. He couldn't kill her right now so there was no point in entertaining her further.
