For the first time, Rougaru feels something akin to ackward shyness. He had never meant to hurt her, never meant to ignore her or make her feel as though her was purposefully avoiding her. She was the victim of Shamwari's games and what words were exchanged between the copper stallion and his precious pearl he did not know. However from the looks of stone she gave him and the standoffish demeanor in which clung to her skin since she returned to him he knew it would not be good.

He finds himself watching her now, emerald green eyes glittering in the fading sunlight, catching each tear that rolled down the fine curve and contour of her cheeks. Sadness glittered in his eyes as her soft simpering voice whispers her mother's name, his heart clenching. How he longed to touch her, to feel the soft velvet of her muzzle against his own, to have the strangely exotic scents of her skin once more envelop him and drift him away to a world where there was no Shamwari, no Warsaw, no war. A place of peace and prosperity, where their world was filled with life and plenty and none were left wanting. It was true that Atlantis was an island of greenery even in the dead of winter, the thick jungle canopy protected most of the grasses and while others worked hard to forage beneath snow, the residents of Atlantis found easy pickings here.

A heavy sigh escapes his lips as almost reluctantly he steps towards her, a soft nicker sliding past his lips as he presses a wry smile upon his hansom features. "Calypso... little pearl." he breathes, stretching his muzzle towards her own but not daring to touch her. Not yet. He did not want to scare her away. Not now. A single audit swivels backwards in confusion as his mutifaceted green eyes linger upon the trail of tears that darken her cheeks. "What can I do?" he asks, his voice a hushed whisper.
