Winter had come and gone and his mother had been gone for a little over two weeks now. She promised to visit, even if she had to sneak on to the island. However, Noctis knew it wouldn't be for a while because she would soon have a new foal by her side and he would need to have the strength to swim. If only he knew where she was he'd go visit himself. His father words of she not coming back echoing through his mind though. Did his father mean permenatally not coming back as in joining the herd or even to visit? He didn't know what to think of that. He hadn't stayed much longer in that conversation as he had grown a bit angry. He had his mothers temper that was for sure. However, when he had said he'd get his mother to fight that mare he had only meant while he was this young. Did his father expect him to fight a full grown horse when he was only a year old? Noctis wasn't that stupid.
He paced the sandy beach constantly every day hoping to see his mother. He understood why she left, he did. His father hadn't just made Monster their queen but this other mare Zjeena who was new to the herd queen as well and even though his mother was barely willing to allow Monster to be over she would of been fine wit that but then his father made Zjeena another queen. Two queens? They didn't need two. He nodded to himself, He would be a better stallion then his father. He would always try to mend his relationship with his mares, his father never tried with his mother from what he saw. Which was another reason his mother chose to leave. She saw no hope in his fathers relationship with her. Where once his mother had stood so proudly by Rougaru side she saw that she could no longer do that being classified as less then two other mares.
He snorts as he stops with his front hooves in the surf. His tail blowing out to the side. He wondered if his little brother or sister had been born yet. Replies:
