The mare he will soon know as Kyuubi, circles him. Her presence so close, and the way she moves, is power. Kestral is in awe of it. The burly mare whispers in his ear, and a grin spreads across his mottled lips. "Not a chance.", he replies. A playful gleam enters his eyes.
Kestral knows no fear.
Perhaps he would make a valuable prize for the peak. While Kestral is not fearful submissive, neither does he believe in the subordination of mares. He would indeed respect whatever authority came over him, even authority of the kind found in the Peak. All Kyuubi would have to do is appeal to the wonder in him and he would follow.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Kyuubi.", he says with sincerity. "I'm Kestral." The stallion casually tosses the forelock from his eyes in a sweeping motion that can be described as nothing but roguishly handsome. Tendrils of white mane fall lightly against his cheek like snow. A smoldering stare pierces the depth of Kyuubi's eyes.
She now holds the cards to both of their futures. What will she do next, and how might she convince to free bird of the Lost Islands to walk willingly into an Amazon captivity?
