Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

It was finally spring! I couldn’t contain my excitement as I bound around the pack land. Patches of stubborn snow littered the place every now and then, but I ignored them with a look of distain. Instead, I made my way to a small, secluded cove tucked close to the boarders of Glorall. The scent of fresh flowers filled my nose as I neared and I couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across my face. Safely tucked behind a series of large rocks, several flowers were beginning to sprout in the warmth of the spring time sun. Many of these lovelies weren’t native to the sandy beaches of my home. In fact, several had come from each of the pack lands scattered throughout Moladion.

In my travels to the different packs, I had taken time to grab some healthy flowers to bring back to my little garden. Over the winter I had worried and fretting like a mother hen about the little blubs that slept beneath the soil. Eden was probably very confused but he had been kind and understanding when I told him about my little ones. They were like my children since I had no pups of my own.

“Hello, my lovelies!” I barked as I sniffed a small lily. “I am so happy to see you all doing so well!” Checking that each petal was getting enough sunlight, I jumped lightly onto the rock and gazed out at the ocean. It was a beautiful day, there was peace throughout the land, and spring was in full swing. I couldn’t help myself! Lifting my muzzle to the sky, I sang out a joyous melody. What could possibly make this day any better?
