The strange way of the world (claim)

Little Anevay was the light he needed in these dark times, but once night fall hit the depression grabs hold tighter. He watches his precious daughter sleeping peacefully next to her beautiful mother, but his mind was too loud to sleep. He had to move, travel, something. He needed a trip outside of the Cove. Requiem takes to the sea and travels to the main island where he first reaches the commons. It was not his intention to bring home anyone, but the light of the moon cast a glow on the blue mare ahead...and Requiem forgot to breath for a moment.

He gasps for air then, embarrassed, looks away. She had to of noticed him by now. He felt nervous bubbling, but he takes a big gulp and begins a slow walk forward. At first he doesn't exaclty walk towards the mare, but eventually he does turn towards her. He gets closer and closer until he was within touching distance. His lips reach out to lip her shoulder. "I'm sorry, I.." He pulls back. Claiming wasn't his thing, but he had to do something to distract his mind. I mean it worked the last time didn't it? Nampeyo was the only constant horse in his life right now and that all began with a claim right here in this very spot this blue roan now stands.

Honey brown eyes find her gaze in the darkness. "I am Requiem of the Cove." He introduces himself in stronger tones than his last words of hesitation. Requiem takes a few steps back to give her some space as he watched her for reaction. Nampeyo wasn't too bad with his claiming nip, but he couldn't expect that every time.
