Balor was not keen on the intrusion. He had no knowledge of this male. If anything, he bore a striking resemblance to the coloring of one the Pharaoh had sought information on in his younger days. His teal-marbled eyes narrowed. The other male wasn't going to leave, clearly. His own thoughts echoed Menkhet's words. What business did he have here? Surely it wasn't give a pair of younger wolves trouble, or at least it didn't seem that way. In fact, the flat emerald gaze of Shaddix made the dark coated boy uncomfortable. Like he knew something.
After what felt like an eternity to Balor, the white and russet brute finally spoke to answer the girl's question. "Before you followed, I was just interested in him." he said with a point of his muzzle towards the dark grey male. "But you, sweet daughter of Asteraia, you are interesting as well," Shaddix practically purred.
The statement sparked confusion to the boy. He glanced quickly towards Menkhet before his gaze rested back upon the grown wolf. They could take him... Easily. Before Balor could protest, the brute spoke again. "Come, let us hunt... I want to see what your mothers have been teaching you," he said. It was not a request in the slightest. "Teaching you properly, that is." Shaddix added with a fierce grin.
Balor was still lost. He had ended up standing there with his mouth open, not entirely sure what to respond with. There was nothing interesting about him. He could see the interest in Menkhet. She was Amunet of Asteraia, the Pharoah's chosen and first born. But Balor? He was no one in the grand scheme of things. Once more, he deferred to his packmate. Was it even safe to hunt with this stranger? Shaddix had not turned to lead the way. He waited for the pair's response. A proper hunt it was he had in mind. What else was proper but another hunter?
