Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

*~My Next Collison Course~*

Tension was growing high in the Lagoon with the coming war. Collision felt better knowing his place in it. He was going to fight beside Cullen and the other warriors of the Lagoon and its allies and it made him feel like he had a purpose. He fought for the defense of his herd and the others they called friends. The thought of battle made his blood run hot through his veins and made him forget about his dark past. Here, he could put it all behind him and find a new mission in life. He was making friends and gaining persepective in the Lagoon and he was eager to see where it went from here. Speaking of friends, he wondered how they were doing. He hadn't seen either Argento or Diamant since he escorted them here. He hoped they were fitting in well and getting back into the routine of being in a bachelor herd.

The changing seasons brought a charge to the air and Collision fed off its energy. His head was high and his ears pricked as he waited beneath the shelter of a patch of trees, watching the storm beat its way across the sky. He'd always been entranced by the magic and terror of a good spring or summer storm. He'd seen the damage those bolts of lightening could do to a tree and he'd even seen one or two horses who met their demise to its power. He stood there watching the storm until it had quieted and moved on its way, leaving only the rain in its wake. Snorting, Collision decided to venture out to snatch a few bites of grass. It always seemed to make it taste sweeter when it had fresh rain on it. He grabbed a few mouthfuls before he heard the call. His head snapped up, brown gaze falling on the brown and white splashed stallion.

Argento! Tossing his head, Collision smiled and called back before trotting toward the other stallion. His eyes gleamed in good humor as he got closer. "Hey, Argento. How's it been going?"
