Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

The Tides of Change

Adelia was not fond of living in a nearly all stallion herd. But two things made it bareable, her son Zafar and Augustine. He was the father of her colt and the only stallion that she tried to get near. The others seemed to leave them alone which was good because she seen how some of the other stallions acted and that behavior may be acceptable around other stallions but for a mare, that was not the way of a herd. They were nothing more then possesions to most of these stallions. They weren't treated with the respect they deserved. Augustine was different yet he refused to go off and start his own herd. He felt some strange loyalty to these stallions.

She stayed because she liked Augustine, a lot. She might even go as far as say she was developing very strong feelings for the stallion. But they would be staying here she knewi t. She could deal with it as long as Augustine stayed by her, not necessarily litterly.

She is grazing with her son dozing at her feet when her ears twitch and she lifts her dial up to notice Cullen the stallion who invited Adolfo here. She was forced along because of her twins brothers need to keep her under control. She did not call to him however, as he was the boss and he was probably one of those stallions who considered her his possession. Zafar remained a sleep at her feet.
