PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Ain't life just awful strange [Ivar]

a new world hangs outside the window
beautiful and strange
it must be I've fallen awake
I must be

The dark mare had successfully kept her captive from the Lagoon safe within the Peak's borders for nearly an entire season. When Cullen came - again - to collect his fellow bachelor, Wasp bested him a second time. It had been a difficult fight, as they often were with the chiseled and experienced cream-colored Lagoon Boss, but Wasp would never forget the feeling in her chest when she watched Cullen turn tail and leave a loser. She washed her heard-earned, fresh blemishes in the frigid stream at the base of their mountain, and rested for the next fight that was bound to find her in the coming weeks.

Wasp was good about giving Ivar his space here. He was a grumpy stallion, which seemed reasonable given the circumstances, and the young mare wasn't really keen on "torturing" him. Sure, she'd had a good time with Khar'pern poking fun at him for a minute. And she certainly enjoyed getting under Cullen's skin. But Wasp had captured Ivar with intention and purpose. She wanted to learn something from him.

So as the blemishes on her hide began to scab over and the stiffness in her muscles fade away, she stalked the higher elevations of the terrain looking for the shorter stud. Her amber eyes remained peeled for his familiar form, and when she finally found him, she nickered to him in a friendly way. She approached with a smile, but kept her distance. For a second, she debated telling him about Cullen's recent attempt to steal him back, but decided to keep that information to herself for a little longer.

"Hey." She said softly as she approached, her thick tail flicking across her haunches. "You seem to be getting used to the elevation. Usually stallions struggle with the thin air."
