There was only one thing that had guarenteed he'd never befriend Rougaru and that was Zjeena's enthusiastically greeting him that day. The one reason he didn't want Zjeena leaving the bay. Even if he befirended Rougaru he would never of let Zjeena near Rougaru without him present and then it would of just been for the foal she carried to see its father cause despite him saying he wanted Rougaru to hurt like him, he wasn't rougaru he wouldn't of kept the foal from him no matter his hate for Rougaru. However, all of that was now the past and he had to live with his choice and Zjeena's. He had to live with the fact his son may never like him which really hurt the most even more then Zjeena falling for Rougaru.
