Curse Details:
Doe was cursed with a Magical Parasite at the start of her imprisonment, to make her more malleable/less likely to try and escape. It manifests physically as shadowy markings on her skin and drains her memories and magical strength; Doe actually "has" more powers and a higher level than what she is joining with but because she has no knowledge of them/no ability to use them, it's like they don't exist at all [she will "remember" them as I earn/buy them through regular means & I'll be building most of her powers back in substages (ex: weak > uncontrollable > full)]. This parasite literally feeds off of her, growing stronger as she grows weaker, and it does whisper to her (never anything helpful, but more like a voice taunting/torturing her/making her doubt herself - basically a built-in gaslighter); she has to fight for every little bit of strength/magic she holds back from the parasite. The parasite can also taunt her with physical sensations but they're all in her head (ex: it could make her feel like her skin is burning but she'll have no actual physical damage).
To break the curse, Doe must face the parasite on it's own ground through a number of dream sequences - in her dreams is the only place Doe can do actual battle against the parasite - culminating in a final showdown with her captor in the dream realm; once defeated, the curse will break and she will get (I will buy) Dream Manipulation.
Of course, this means that the parasite makes it difficult for Doe to sleep to the point of needing potions/magical intervention from outside sources. To make matters worse, Doe will usually die randomly at some point throughout the night, often around/before dusk and resurrecting ("using" her uncontrollable Self-Resurrection) again eventually, usually around/after dawn.
Detailed Appearance: Doe is tall, somewhere between 6'0" and 6'2", with a curvy frame. When healthy, she is sweetly pretty with dimpled cheeks, long eyelashes, and thick, shiny hair. Unfortunately she is currently rather gaunt and skeletal due to her imprisonment + the effects of the parasite and looks, in general, like someone just coming back from starvation. She is also badly scarred at her wrists, ankles, and throat as well as a few scars on her arms and legs (some quite severe) where she attempted to remove the parasite so she will usually be seen pretty covered up, especially to start.
