Weeks have passed since washing up in the Prairie, her strength has returned along with some of her vigor. Emerald eyes sparkle with youth despite her aging body.

She steps into the frothing surf as the sun peeks above the horizon, the heavens are brilliant and bright on this particular morning. Spring has brought forth the promise of new life, plus an abundance of lush greenery. She can no ignore the tugging at her chest, today she will venture to the crossing. She will travel the sea in a desperate hope of bumping into her daughter.

The sea embraces her, with warmth as if she were an old friend. She does not struggle against the waves, but lets the tide sweep her toward the crossing. The thoughts of her daughter nag at her, especially with Shamwari's words lingering in the back of her mind. Dark words that had not meant to scare her, but still she feels the fear clinch at her thundering heart.

Caesisus steps from the sea, it froths and bubbles around her ankles. Emerald eyes flick up the sandy shores, and then focus on the forest beyond. She knew these lands well, almost being able to traverse them with her eyes closed. Everywhere she glances, ghosts of what could of been haunt her. They laugh and taunt her with the promises made, the lives that could of been. Her heart lurches again, maybe she wasn't strong enough to face this place on her own. She almost turns back, but someting beckons her further.

The dull roar of the falls reach her delicately curved ears, she swallows the growing lump in her throat. Dixon she whispers, the name is sweet on her lips. Just as she enters the clearing, her eyes focus on a young filly drinking, who is soon approached by a behemoth of a stallion. Her gut churns. Their words are inaudible against the rushing falls, she steps closer. The only word she manages to catch, is his name.

Out of the forest bursts another young filly. Caesisus' brow furrows as she looks upon the lone fillies and the behemoth who towers over all of them. She closes the distance between the trio of horses, her delicately chiseled head held high on her curved neck.

"Osiris, is it?" she asks as she halts near the girls. "Are you here to protect these girls?"

She contemplates if his intentions are pure, in her experience, she doubts it.
