She is electric and passionate. A smile traces his pink lips as she speaks passionately against the war that broods on the horizon. "I believe it is pettiness that drives this war" he says with a nod. He does not want to involve his lands, but has a feeling that it is inevitable. A war is a sickness, driving it disease into every inch of a land, consuming and devouring everyone in its path. He hasn't personally witnessed the atrocities, but his mother had told him of her homeland. She had warned of greed and pride that drives men to do unspeakable things.

His ears perk as she mentions her past and with a passionate tongue, explains her reasoning behind her loathing of petty squabbles. "It is unknown to me. My mother had spoke of war, and she spoke with the same disdain that you now do," he nods as his thoughts drift to A'idah. She had fled her own homeland because of a petty war driven by outdated beliefs.

His dark eyes flick to her own, a fire burns deep within her soul. She dares to close the distance between them, leaving just a sliver of light between her outreached muzzle and his own. He reaches the remaining inches to touch the velvet soft skin of her muzzle with his own. Her scent is sweet, a perfume that invites him closer. His heart thuds wildly against his ribs in a quick staccato. A breath is caught in his throat as he is enchanted by her dark gaze.

"I do fear for my family, but I will protect them until my last breath," he states with a proud raise of his chiseled head. As long as there was a breath in his lungs, he would fight for them. And if she wishes, he would fight for her as well.
