It would have been an understatement to say she had been excited at meeting Greywind. Rather, she had been absolutely ecstatic, if not a little overwhelmed by their encounter. It had, after all, gone better than Faye had expected! Some time ago, she had heard about special events that Spirane held every spring, and she had been sitting on her paws in anticipation of the invitation call. One thing lead to another, or rather, hadn't lead to another, and Faye had grown too restless to simply keep waiting. She had set off to Spirane, prepared to demand her invitation or at least remind them that they were all waiting. What she had discovered instead, however, had been Greywind and an explanation that everybody had been - in Faye's eyes at least - too scared to be the one to invite everybody. Nobody had stood up to make the call, so what else could Faye have done? Diveen and Spirane were allies, and Faye was two years old come spring and already at the mountain. There was nobody better for the task!

Faye had listened to the specifics but she hadn't really absorbed them. As far as she was concerned, it seemed a bit silly to over-plan and worry about all kinds of small details. What mattered is that they'd have some fun, mingle and get to know one another as the future of Moladion, all while getting away with it right beneath the noses of the adults. She'd done a little to prepare, which mostly consisted of finding a very nice place at the foot of the mountain with a waterfront view. It was near enough to the crags to have a few larger boulders here and there, but not so close as to ruin the view of the fields to the east. It was a good spot, and Faye was proud herself!

With the place decided, Faye had quickly prepared her invitation, assured that even the loners were welcome to attend. She called for the two year olds the night before, and then once more come the morning of. Of course, her call wasn't entirely exclusive - if she was honest, she didn't mind if those a little older or younger came too. It just meant more fun, right?

Faye had been tempted to inundate Greywind and Nymeria with all kinds of questions - how did they build up that kind of trust with the loners? what kind of security did they perform? - but she'd held herself back. Instead, she'd found herself a nice, high position atop a boulder and had waited until the perfect morning hour before she called out again, ensuring everybody knew where she was. She just had to wait then, but she'd been waiting so long at that point that it was truly difficult. She practically danced on her paws, itching to get to the mingling.
