My information comes from enlishment registers 1920-1936. Regiment Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Regiment number 4182802. He lied about his age. He was born in 1904 but wrote 1902. His Father was Sidney J Jolley. He was in the Chesters and Lancashire Fusiliers, Salford Pals, Sidney was a QM. James's attestaion was 6/7/1921 in Rhyl.7/8/1921 in shewsbury he reinlisted into the Lanacashire Fusilier. I found this information on Findmypast. I found the information about his death in the newspapers. His brother Sidney William Jolley was informed of his death in Wellington, Madras, India. I presume he was buried in Wellington at the barracks as I see from the site that there is a cemetery there. Is there anyway I could find out if he was buried in Wellington. Kind regards, Yvette.
