Shaddix had continued to lay low for longer than he had planned. It wasn't so problematic in that he was perfectly content in Iromar for the time being. He ventured out now and again, to include his run in with one of his own children and his unknowing cousin. It would make for an interesting future if those two interacted more often, even more if he continued to cross paths with them. Life would end up being quite interesting. However, he did remind himself that Avery had given him sanctuary in Iromar. It was something he could never repay properly. And there were no present tensions with Asteraia, so it made things all the easier on his life.
The white and russet brute gave a yawn as he sauntered through the moors. He couldn't deny his dislike of the way the bog smell clung to his thick coat, but that was a minor irritation. Shaddix occasionally wondered if his stay in Iromar was destined to be truly permanent. As a result, he would continue to be useful without causing trouble. At least not for Avery herself. He would still hunt as he chose. He tended to take his more... unsavory meals outside the packlands. He did not need that sour look on him by others of the pack if they were not so inclined.
His ears twitched at the Monarch's call. Shaddix's tail swayed back and forth with his stride as he followed the trailed. He eventually sidled up to the growing gathering of the pack. He was not familiar with those present in any intimate manner. He recognized Ruby as a smell about the pack, the others less so considering his general solitude within the pack. He inclined his head respectfully before addressing Avery.
