The world had been quiet. Maybe not the entire world, but their corner of it had been. The weather was not always kind, but the denizens of Moladion seemed to be content to go about their business and for the most part, everyone seemed to be leaving each other alone. Not that Arturio was upset by that. The Thunder King of Diveen decided it was time to see old friends (though technically still new friends given number of encounters, he reminded himself). First that had come to mind to pay a visit to was Zelda in Taviora.
The journey between their packs was no hard, nor particularly long. It was nothing urgent that he felt the need to rush. The alabaster male took the time to enjoy the trek through the fields and around the valley to reach his eventual destination. He had been near the forest pack a few times, but never crossed its borders to meet or see anyone. In fact, it had been Zelda that came to him in Diveen during more tumultuous times. His large paws moved steadily but something unexpected caught his attention.
Arturio knew Zelda's scent. As he neared the invisible line that meant crossing into Taviora, that was not the scent that was strongest there. It was new. A frown creased his features. Had something happened to the Goddess of the Forest. Somehow, he felt if she had been usurped, there would have been more of a ruckus. Thought mad him worry more. Had she fallen ill? Arturio exhaled sharply through his nose. Wondering would get him nowhere. Instead, he would approach this diplomatically. He and his pack were a friend to Taviora. With that in mind, he crossed the threshold of the pack while he raised his maw to the sky to announce his presence. Arturio would not go to far, for anything further than what he had done would be rude. But he called to speak to Zelda, to check in on a friend. Or who-so-ever might approach in her stead.
