| he hadn’t wandered to this part of the island before now. he had spent days and weeks meandering the meadow and common, exploring, and pondering his next steps. it was boredom that drew him away from his usual path this day, the heat soaking into his slick black hide, and the sun lingering high… it was a beautiful day. hot and warm with but a breath of wind. it was so vastly different from the vlast, the motherland, that he found he enjoyed this season most of all. there were no small reminders lurking in the chill or the frost. lukas moves smoothly, wandering nonchalantly from the path leading out of the meadow. his dark eyes watch the fray curiously, enjoying the summer buzz. he has not met many new faces here, keeping what he thinks to be a safe distance, but he enjoys the company from afar at least. as he wanders closer to the falls his eyes fall on a cautious figure, glinting like a golden penny in the sun. a gentle smile breaks his features as he watches to see if she will approach the water, despite what he perceives as hesitation. when she finally does, standing enjoying the mist that seems to spray from the falling water, he decides it wouldn’t hurt to at least attempt conversation. he clears his throat as he comes up behind her, lukas the gentleman. he stops some strides away, speaking with a smile in his tone, and waiting for her acknowledgment before approaching further. this is a special place i think. very Krásná. i am lukasz even from this distance, some yards away, he can feel the fine mist of water. it feels like a cool caress, perfectly contrasted by the warm afternoon sun. no wonder the golden mare seemed to like spot.
