Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

At last she had found her way into the vast expanse of the northern forest. A brief diversion by the way of finding Eros at the riverside turned out to be a welcome distraction and also deep exploration of her past and who she is today. She knows that she should find him again at some point if only due to his acceptance and understanding of her beliefs. She even felt that she had somehow helped him with getting a grasp on his own past. She hadn’t set out to achieve such a thing but it seemed that they parted ways on a better note than they had found each other.

As she now wanders through the dappled sunlight of the forest her mind focuses only on the present and what is to come, not her history. It feels refreshing to have spilled nearly everything about her relationship with death and her lifetimes before. She’s straightened out the messy tangle of historic trauma and is left with what feels like a fresh breath of air for the first time in decades. Her eyes close momentarily as she continues to jog slowly along; hearing the gentle breezing whirling past her ears, feeling the warmth of the sunlit patches as they pass over her figure, just… soaking everything in as it comes to her.

It’s a moment of odd serenity before she opens her eyes only a second or two later.

Her movement is nothing more than practiced grace, traipsing silently through the underbrush with little effort. Something small, barely moving, yet still there catches her eye as she passes by. She turns to look just as she jogs past and realizes it’s a pup, seemingly alone. What the hell? She’s intrigued by what possible reason a child that small would have to be out here by themselves and also why they’re acting so strangely. This notion alone is enough to cause her to turn around and head back to the pup.

She approaches quietly with little expression other than obvious curiosity, not in a way to scare the child but simply because she knows no other way to treat one so young. She wasn’t raised within a traditional pack system and had been shorted in the way of proper socialization and etiquette. She was just… different. ”What exactly are you doing?” Maybe a little brash.
