She had heard the call from the young familiar she-wolf. She had wondered close enough to catch a glance, enough to see that her son went to answer the call. Sekhmet had recognized the child as Kweku’s but she had more pressing matters than to attend to. After her conversation with Cuirass, she had felt better but now, she needed to speak with Kweku about what was occurring and what she would need from him. She would never change his nature but surely sparking a fire under him would keep him on his toes while she determined the best course of action for dealing with the asp in the grasslands. Plus in time she would have to make her way to the girl on her boarders.
Her paws carried her swiftly across the plains. The sun high in the sky warming her back as she sank into the deeper grasses. Her goal was to find Kweku though she was uncertain as to where she should look first, though lucky for her, he seemed to linger in Asteraia. It did not take her exceptionally long until she caught his scent. Her paws traced his tracks hoping to catch a glimpse of him sooner rather than later. Though her conversation with Cuirass helped, there was still some tension etched in her features and she wanted nothing more than to find a cool dark place to think and clear her mind.
Her opalescent eyes caught a glimpse of Kweku basking in the warm spring rays. Her pace picked up as she chuffed to him announcing her presence if he hadn’t already noticed. Her paws pressed deep into the soil, her nails scraping the earth. She was proud of the home she had and her making more of an effort to mark it as her own was doubled in the effort now that it came to the appearance of her once ally. After all, she no longer had qualms with the king of Diveen and she quite frankly aimed to keep it that way.
