Well, so far, so good. No one really seemed to care that she was there, though she noticed a few giving her extra looks when they got a good whiff. She was probably about the only Asteraia wolf here, but it's not like that was going to stop her. Why should it? There was a lot of talking going on, but it was hard to keep up with all the different conversations. Faye said something about a tour of the pack and tried to hand it off but the other girl, Rhaenys, handed it right back to her brother, Alagai, saying he could lead them some places maybe. Rhaenys was one of the ones giving her extra looks and Nissa thought she caught some wariness in her gaze. She almost thought about sticking her tongue out or baring a tooth or something just to give her something to think about, but she held herself back. Probably best to behave herself, for now anyway. When another girl arrived and introduced herself as Skyfire, Nissa tensed up and her eyes widened. Shoot! It was the girl she tried to steal! She hurridly ducked her head and tried to look anywhere but at Skyfire, hoping she wouldn't get noticed. No such luck of course cause Skyfire walked right up to her and asked if she knew her. Nissa looked up at her and scowled thoughtfully, as if mulling it over. She glanced over Skyfire and tried to decide if honesty was the best here or not. If she lied and Skyfire found out, she'd probably blurt it out to everyone and instantly, Nissa would be the bad guy. Whereas if she told the truth, she might still be the bad guy or maybe Skyfire would understand where she was coming from. Sighing, she nodded. "Probably, seeing as how I tried to kidnap you not too long ago. As you can see, I'm not too good at it yet." She tilted her head, trying to gauge Skyfire's reaction. "I'm trying to gain a rank in my pack as the head thief, the same rank my dad had for years. It's nothing personal." She wondered if Skyfire would understand her hopes of making her father proud and trying to make something of herself in a pack. Or maybe she'd still be upset about almost getting kidnapped. Remembrancers: Wolves of a kind nature who look after the younger wolves of the pack. These wolves may wish to learn more about healing, but this is not a requirement.
