The night was long, the air cool, and Melina was no stranger to the change that overcame her body. She was literally born this way and had become accustomed to it. She welcomed it in fact and felt more alive this way than in her human form. This form separated her from her twin sister and she felt as though she was finally her own entity.
This night, was her first time exploring the forest that surrounds the castle though. She normally spent her time roaming the mountains of Salt Rock Peaks where her and her sister were raised by Ester-May. But this time, she found herself here because she was checking in on her sister who spent her first night in the castle. All the while exploring the forest, something deep within this beast-like heart of hers called out to her. She found a new spark of curiosity swirling about in her mind, so here she was.
She's dancing through it as elegantly as her unique form can allow for. Weaving in and out of the trees and leaping about in a playful manner. Nostrils flare as she takes in all the familiar scents trying to decipher the new scent from them. Golden eyes eventually land on an oh so familiar form not too far off and she literally stops in her tracks and snaps a twig beneath her dark hooves. Surely it startled the creature, but despite its snarl and baring it's sharp teeth, she still approaches. She knew instantly this is what she was sensing that was different.
Milena had never seen another like her, though maybe different at the same time. "You're just like me!!" She yells out excitedly as she draws near and begins to circle the other dragon-horse. "I can't believe it!" She was a rich mixture of red and gold with a brilliant red mane surround her dragon head and along the crest of her whip-like tail. "I thought I was the only one!" She lets out an excited sound that definitely was beast-like.
