AMP update-Cancelled

All,



We wanted to notify everyone, we are cancelling the Super Pull/Annul Meeting Pull. This was a painful decision knowing the passion everyone has for the competition. Bottom line, our health is more important than one of our Tractor Pulling family members to become ill. Not saying that anyone would, but the risks are not worth taking the chance. If you have made hotel reservations, please proceed in cancelling them.



At this point, we will be taking ideas of how we can make up the event at another time in the year.



Some ideas that have been thought of:

Have the pull on one of the open weekends in June, August, or September
Double up on the Super Pull in 2021 and have the 2019 and 2020 Super Pull qualifiers pull on same weekend and Annual Meeting Pull. Makes for a long weekend.
Include the Super Pull within the Farm Progress Pull September 1, 2, or 3. Problem, this is middle of week.
If the Hamilton County Fair Grounds are available Labor Day weekend, Have it then. This would be the weekend following the Farm Progress Show and would make for a long week, but for those who couldn’t attend the Farm Progress Show would be able to take advantage of a long weekend to make the trip.


These are only suggestions so far. If you have any other suggestions or input on the ones listed, please email Mike Corey at nmmtpavp@gmail.com. Mike will compile the answers and give us a chance to decide or vote for what we should do.
