Quiet summer days were nice... When the heat wasn't utterly stifling. Terra found herself trudging along the banks of the river with her paws in the water. The sun's heat absorbed nicely into her predominantly dark coat, yet practically reflected off the practically molten gold bits. Of course it would. The young woman groaned softly, almost oblivious to the world around her. She wanted to appropriate solace in the shade.
Her sunburst eyes began to scan ahead of her. A gave a soft frown. Wolves gathering where the shade was the best. Terra rolled her shoulders slightly before she pressed ahead. She could deal with some mild social gathering just to get out of the sun. Her gaze drifted between the wolves present. Her ears twitched slightly as she caught a small bit of Beltane's words. They were not directed towards her, easy enough to ignore. Instead, she easily maneuvered around those who enjoyed the water and shade with minimal interruption and found herself settled in the water nearest the woman that had been the apparent first arrival.
Terra gave a polite nod. "Nice spot you found here," she said cordially. Too many other wolves though, she thought with a soft sigh as she laid there. She scanned the grouping again. If there was anyone familiar here, she didn't recognize them. Not that it really mattered. It was hot out, and she just wanted to enjoy the cool water and shade. She might even have been willing to strike up a conversation with Auri if it had been just the other woman. Not so much with the others about.
