Bastet’s stomach fluttered the same as it had the day of the two-year-old party. Admittedly she was unsure if it was excitement or curiosity but now it was curiosity that led her paws. She saw the boy that Menkhet always accompanied well at least in Asteraia anyways. Menkhet was always more playful and almost seemed nice in a rough manner but still, much nicer than she had been play fighting with her siblings. Even so, Bastet wasn’t bold enough to encroach on her sister's time and when the girl saw the stranger leaving and Menkhet bounding off to do her own thing she chose to follow the boy. Perhaps then she could ease some of the curiosity that kept playing in the back of her mind.
Whilst she wasn’t the heir of Asteraia it didn’t make her any less of a princess. She was never the warrior, like her mother or other sisters, but she tried. Once they disappeared far enough into the woodland she picked up her stride. She paused briefly feeling a bit of hesitation, however, something encouraged her to keep moving. Once she caught up to him she moved to jog at a wolf lengths away before calling out to him hoping he would turn around. “Hi. I um…well you where interesting…” Her head dropped slightly as she composed herself, so much for regal. “I’m Bastet. I just wanted to make your acquaintance.” The fem said looking at him hopefully.
