It is good she cannot read Rougaru's thoughts, or she would have audibly laughed at the notion of her needing a savior. If there was one thing the painted vixen would have prided herself on, it was her independence and lack of a need for a man. She wanted one, yes. To be more precise, she wanted many of them to fawn over her. Her natural position was as the center of attention and no man would be able to convince her otherwise.

This year would just be a temporary setback in the grand scheme of things.

Rougaru doesn't give her time to ruminate on much however. He remains firmly in contact with her skin, letting his teeth mark her hip once mare. She leans into the touch as he shoves her forward, almost as a dare, and does not immediately cave to him.

She lets his words wash over her without reaction, until he reiterates that she belongs to him. Once more rankled at the thought of her newly diminished prospects, she draws in a hissed breath through her teeth. Tossing her head, she leaps daintily forward and lashes her tail in his general direction before casting a wicked glance back at him.

"I am yours only for as long as you can keep me," she taunts him, arching the proud curve of her neck and angling for the beach. She had no idea where his home was, but she had a feeling that he would be all too happy to put his skin against hers once more to show her the way.
